It was a quiet dark night, very dark in fact!

Case Study

It had been a fairly normal rowdy Saturday night at The local bar in Papakura.  The Manager was tired after a long week of late nights.  As was his usual custom, he did a thorough check of the premises at 2am before he locked everything up.  Well… he thought he was thorough.  Unfortunately he missed a patron sleeping off his overindulgence in the bathroom.

Said patron, woke up in a very pitch dark bathroom, disoriented, uneasy and probably feeling rather worse for wear.  Unfortunately it’s about to get worse for our weary overstayer.  Fumbling in the dark he makes his way around the dark bar, setting off every security sensor he passes.  The Global Security monitor responds immediately and seeing the pattern of sensors being activated realises quickly that someone is indeed on the premises.  She uses her training and common sense and immediately despatches Police before calling the owner.  Joseph get’s woken up by the Global operator who informs him that someone is in his premises and Police have been despatched.  Joseph immediately makes his way down to the Bar to find….

The Policeman with his arm through the security gate, hanging onto our just sober patron by the scruff of the neck.  Our “robber” was mighty pleased to see someone with keys to the gate!

The story has a happy ending and everyone got to go home to bed once the story had been validated.  Joseph has expressed his gratitude to Global that as an owner of a “at risk” business he feels safe leaving the premises at night knowing the Global Security staff are watching over it.  He’s also grateful to know that his staff and himself will not need to put themselves at risk as Global will despatch guards or Police as required.  He has been a satisfied customer for a number of years and has had numerous dealings with Global Security over that time.  He has never been anything but satisfied and impressed with the service delivery and standards.  So much so that he also lets us watch over his home and family.
